We are seeking an experienced Health Support Associate to join our Nutrition and Dietetics Department.

The position provides comprehensive clinical and administrative support to assist in the delivery of nutrition-related care and services under the supervision of a registered Dietitian. This may include malnutrition risk screening, assisting with implementing and monitoring nutrition care plans for patients, involvement in quality activities and provision of clinical and administrative support to the Nutrition and Dietetics Department.

This role is based at Wollongong Hospital but may be required to work from other sites as needed.

The successful candidate will work on a temporary part-time basis (16 hours per week) until November 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical and administrative support to Dietitians
  • Assisting with malnutrition risk screening
  • Implementing and monitoring nutrition care plans
  • Participating in quality activities
