About the Role
  • Promote cultural awareness and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders to drive service delivery.
  • Establish partnerships with fellow arts organizations to address current industry issues and engage with media representatives.
  • Develop strategies to enhance participation of underrepresented communities in our services.
  • Work closely with artists and market experts to ensure understanding of copyright, licensing, and resale royalty principles.
  • Support colleagues in handling enquiries with cultural sensitivity and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Represent the organization at conferences and industry events to promote services and build relationships.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a reconciliation action plan.

About You
  • You have a deep understanding of diverse cultural contexts and experience in delivering services that cater to those communities.
  • You are an effective communicator, able to build strong relationships and demonstrate leadership behaviors both within and outside the organization.
  • Ideally, you hold a qualification in Arts and Humanities, Indigenous Studies, or a related field, and possess knowledge of the Australian visual arts industry.
