About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to manage our event portfolio, focusing on TCS Sydney Marathon and international travel partner programs.

  • Develop strategic third-party partnerships, including bids, contracts, relationships, and reporting.
  • Create and manage programs, involving multi-layered agreements, design, delivery, retail opportunities, and packages.
  • Product procurement: provide briefs of required products (hotels, attractions, etc).
  • International Travel Partner (ITP) relationship management and communication.
  • Marketing oversight: campaign development and delivery for strategic partnerships.
  • Lead generation: identify large commercial opportunities.
  • Attend domestic events: host and deliver.
  • Exceed client expectations through high-standard program delivery.
  • Manage the inbound team, Operations Executive, and Product Manager.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within the travel industry, preferably with sports travel experience.
  • Possession of passion and knowledge of endurance sports, including marathons, triathlons, and cycling events.
  • Previous team management experience.
  • Strong industry knowledge, with a focus on hotel operations.
  • Able to make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-starting ability, with strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft packages (Excel, Word).
