ICT Project Manager Role

This is a full-time ICT project manager position that supports the transition of ICT services to a shared services model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an ICT strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Manage the transition of ICT services, ensuring value for money, continuity of services, and a fit-for-purpose solution.
  • Provide technical and managerial support to the in-house IT team.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand technology needs and ensure these are met in the transition delivery.
Essential Criteria
  1. Financial management at Level 4 (SFIA):
    • Monitor and maintain financial records to agreed requirements for compliance and audit.
    • Assist with identifying and calculating process, service, project, and component costs for financial planning and budgeting.
  2. Project management at Level 5 (SFIA):
    • Take full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of medium-scale projects.
    • Provide effective leadership to the project team.
  3. Stakeholder relationship management at Level 5 (SFIA):
    • Identify the communications and relationship needs of stakeholder groups.
    • Translate communications/stakeholder engagement strategies into specific activities and deliverables.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of delivering ICT projects in the public sector.
  • The ability to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
