As a Maintenance Officer at Vicinity Centres, you will play a critical role in ensuring the general upkeep of our centres and maintaining a safe environment for retailers, customers, and the general public. You will work closely with the Operations Manager(s) to identify and address maintenance needs, and ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with Vicinity policies and legislative requirements.

  • Undertake routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and maintenance of internal and external structures, carparks, signage, road works, and gates.
  • Maintain and service retailer facilities within the centre, including staff toilets and loading docks.
  • Ensure centre lighting is maintained internally and externally.
  • Assist with centre minor capital expenditure programs.
  • Engage suitably qualified contractors for more substantial works.

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in general maintenance tasks, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a sound knowledge of Health & Safety. You will also have experience coordinating contractors within a maintenance environment.
