About the Opportunity

Clinpath Pathology, a reputable pathology service provider, is seeking a skilled Data Entry Clerk to join their team at Mile End in South Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where the contribution of people with different skill sets, cultures, and backgrounds is valued.

The Laboratory Support Services department operates extended hours over seven days, offering a variety of day, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. If working out of hours appeals due to your family situation, this role may be of interest. Participation in weekend and public holiday rosters may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data entry of request form information into the L.I.S.;
  • Administrative tasks associated with ensuring accurate data is entered into the L.I.S.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role is essential;
  • A typing speed of at least 55 wpm with 98% accuracy is required (skills testing will form part of the selection process);
  • Willingness to learn specific laboratory techniques;
  • Manual dexterity;
  • Customer service experience by telephone;
  • Proven exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures;
  • Comfortable taking responsibility for timely and thorough completion of tasks;
  • An outstanding work ethic and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve and maintain our commitment to service excellence and patient care;
  • Ability to receive the Covid-19 vaccination (including booster) in order to perform this role.
