Job Title: Technical Team Lead

As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for managing a group of skilled engineers and professionals. Your primary focus will be on ensuring effective utilization and resource planning within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with a positive and inclusive team culture.">
  • Align with program managers to ensure team focus on work-winning and project delivery.">
  • Coordinate team meetings and ensure effective communication and information sharing.">
  • Maintain collaboration across teams and disciplines.">
  • Monitor and improve team utilisation and billability.">
  • Forecast resource needs and assist with workforce planning and recruitment.">
  • Line manage team members, including performance reviews, career development, and wellbeing.">
  • Liaise with capability managers, program managers, project managers, HR, and talent acquisition.">
  • Undertake fee-earning technical work in line with team capacity and individual expertise.">

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have proven leadership skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience managing a technical team. You must also have a strong understanding of business operations within a consultancy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A professional background in Coastal Modelling, Dredging or Maritime Structures Engineering.">
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in a consulting environment.">
  • Higher level qualifications or certifications in project management, business or leadership.">
