We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Advisor to join our team. As a Student Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering services that promote academic success and support wellbeing and engagement for students.

The Division of Student Life is responsible for delivering services that centre on the student journey, from provision of student programs and activities to support and promote access to higher education, to student enrolment, course planning, transition, and progression through the lifecycle of study to graduation.

A key function within Student Life is the Student Office team who provide an enriched and supported student advisory service to students and the broader university community. The Student Office team supports students' connection to their school or discipline, facilitates core student administrative functions, and delivers services to support academic progression for an enhanced student experience.

As a Student Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a consistent, transparent, and high-quality student service
  • Providing a high level of administrative support to the area and taking a responsible and supervisory role in the establishment, maintenance, improvement, and monitoring of systems, policies, and procedures
  • Working within a skilled team to make a valuable contribution to the student experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent competency
  • Substantial relevant administrative experience at an appropriate level
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative, and work productively as part of a team
