Claims Professionals with technical skills are sought to manage claims and provide customer service. As a dedicated Claims Manager, you will oversee portfolios of travel claims and liaison with parties to assess liability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of claims
  • Conducting coverage analysis and reserve assessment
  • Employing proactive strategies to reduce claims cost
  • Developing claim resolution strategies
  • File reviews and timely scheduling of independent medical examinations

Additionally, you will need to communicate effectively with claimants, clients, investigators, insurers and medical practitioners via written and verbal means, and demonstrate negotiation and advocacy techniques.

**Required Skills:**

  • Technical decision-making skills
  • Ability to assess quantum and reserve
  • Understanding of policy clauses and exclusions
  • Solid analytical and dispute resolution ability
  • Effective communication and relationship building
