**Responsibilities**:
**Why become a Claims Administration Assistant with GB?**

Our team is growing and we're hiring multiple entry level Claims Assistants to support our Accident and Health Claims team. These are entry-level opportunities designed to upskill and privide claims handling experience of rindividuals interested in starting the insurance career. These exciting oppportunities on offer involve handling claims within our travel, sports, and personal accident and injury claims.

This role may interest you if you are studying and/or qualified in Insurance, Administration, Allied Heath, Psychology, Business and Commerce, Social Work (or similar disciplines) then this may be what you are looking for. Alternatively, if you are looking to re-enter the workforce this too may be good opportunity. You don't have to have insurance, claims or corporate work experience, but a passion for learning, dedication to service and a motivated disposition. We offer learning and career pathways and provide ongoing training. We invest in our people through succession planning and have a number of mentoring and training programs available.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Ensuring all customers and claimants receive the support and guidance they need throughout the lodgement and processing of their claim by responding to queries, undertaking customer service by telephone and utilising and updating the claims management systems and databases
- Providing high level customer service to all internal and external partners
- Undertaking End to End claims management, whilst handling daily workflow and providing administrative support to maintain client service standards
- Processing payment of income and other ancillary benefits within company guidelines and delegated authority

Qualifications:

- PC literacy and Microsoft Office experience
- Minimum completion of Year 10 secondary school studies
