As a Home Care Employee, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Provide daily assistance with tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene to ensure clients' comfort, dignity, and well-being.
  • Household Assistance: Offer support with cleaning, meal preparation, and general household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.
  • Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Social Engagement: Foster social interaction and provide companionship, enhancing clients' quality of life and overall well-being.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • An empathic and caring approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Access to a fully maintained and insured vehicle
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Competency with smartphones/tablets or willingness to learn
  • Physical fitness for manual handling and extended periods of standing/sitting

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (essential)
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtain
  • Current unrestricted Australian Driver's License
