Investigations Specialist

At the Victorian Building Authority, we have a unique opportunity for an experienced investigations professional to fill a key role.

We are seeking someone with a strong background in investigations and a passion for delivering results in a compliance or regulatory environment. In this position, you will be responsible for assessing and investigating referrals from various sources, identifying breaches of building legislation, regulations, and professional standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting interviews and preparing detailed briefs of evidence
  • Participating in court proceedings and providing advice and information to industry professionals
  • Working collaboratively as part of a diverse team to develop skills and expertise

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong analytical mind, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work effectively in a changing environment. A Certificate IV in Government Investigations or higher qualifications is highly desirable.
