Job Title

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe, and organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning of warehouse floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms by operating self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery, sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping.
  • Restocking supplies and emptying garbage from designated areas throughout the warehouse.
  • Operating garbage compactors and cardboard balers, checking daily schedules for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs, and following safety and security procedures such as tagging and locking off power access when working on electrical equipment.
  • Responding quickly to clean up spills, paints, replacing bulbs, maintaining equipment, and performing routine repairs throughout the warehouse.
  • Assisting in building displays and fixtures, maintaining grounds outside the warehouse including blowing leaves, picking up litter, roof checks, and building maintenance.
  • Ordering supplies and parts needed for projects and providing prompt and courteous member service.

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks

  • Assisting with front-end duties as necessary and assisting in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
