Preventative Maintenance Technician Opportunity

Our organisation seeks a seasoned Preventative Maintenance Technician to proactively minimise downtime and ensure optimal output and productivity levels are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine, preventative and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing machinery to maintain equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Utilise practical, hands-on experience to diagnose and repair complex equipment issues.
  • Source high-quality equipment from reputable suppliers to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.

Requirements:

  • Trades qualified fitter with mechanical engineering or fitter & turner background.
  • Proven experience in minimising machinery downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Setting experience is essential for effective equipment operation.
  • LEAN Manufacturing knowledge is highly desirable for continuous improvement initiatives.
