Director of Strategy and Practice Quality

The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Strategy and Practice Quality to lead our senior leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple OPG program areas and developing, leading, and implementing strategic and operational service delivery priorities across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership of the Strategy and Practice Quality business unit, including strategic policy, complaints management, practice quality, and advocacy.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve practice quality and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish partnerships and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide high-level advice to the Deputy Public Guardians and the Public Guardian on matters relating to OPG operations.
  • Lead the business unit in relation to work planning, staff development, team management, and communication.
