Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Puckapunyal defence base, located 10km west of Seymour.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical work on building services equipment, including refrigeration equipment.

The HVAC Service Technician/Refrigeration Mechanic will ensure that all work carried out meets safety, quality, and customer standards and achieves the overall business plans and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical work on building services equipment, including refrigeration equipment.
  • Ensure that all work carried out meets safety, quality, and customer standards.
  • Diagnose problems and perform work of a technical nature on air conditioning systems and refrigeration systems.
  • Proactively address customer complaints and demonstrate competence in establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
  • Observe quality and technical procedures, work instructions, and practices.

About the Role:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience.
  • Certificate III in Electro-technology or equivalent trade qualification.
  • S permit (Restricted Electrical Licence) preferred.
  • A solid understanding of air conditioning systems and the relevant codes and industry standards.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Ability to learn and use proprietary software necessary to support the position.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • Basic understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management System.
  • ARTIC Licence.
  • Assessment Certificate from TRE where required.
