The Memorial’s Finance Section has a dedicated team to provide day-to-day support to business sections and the executive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on procurement processes, including analysis of issues and opportunities, seeking solutions that promote better practice.
  • Maintain contracts registers, registering proposed contracts, updating data once contracts are signed, and creating purchase orders.
  • Generate reports on contract expirations, council reporting, and tender notices as required.
  • Review and maintain procurement templates with attention to compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Attend meetings and conferences to maintain understanding of procurement requirements and support professional development.

As a senior procurement advisor, you will work under limited direction to provide strategic advice and guidance on procurement and contract management processes. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, generating reports, and reviewing templates to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. You will also attend meetings and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest procurement requirements and best practices.
