
Nurse Role in Community Healthcare

This permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a community setting, seeing a variety of clients. Acute general nursing skills are desirable; community nursing experience is highly regarded. The role provides chronic disease management, wound, and catheter care to clients in their own homes.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in wound and catheter care, advanced clinical assessment skills in chronic disease management, and at least 2 years post-graduate broad experience in general nursing. A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no notations is also required.
Apart from a competitive hourly rate plus superannuation, employees receive 5 weeks annual leave, plus annual leave loading. - Use exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills and abilities to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Strong experience in wound and catheter care.
- Advanced clinical assessment skills in chronic disease management.
- At least 2 years post-graduate broad experience in general nursing.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no notations.
- Compassion, enthusiasm, and a friendly approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A current Australian driver's license.
