About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Training Specialist to join our team at ATS Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering comprehensive technical training programs to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Training Development: Collaborate with our Technical L&D Manager to design and deliver technical training modules, competency tests, and training competency requirements.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver risk management and building control training to area teams, external clients, and developers, architects, and building control bodies as required.
  • Training Support: Assist in the delivery of virtual training, webinars, and the annual technical training conference.
  • Content Creation: Develop technical articles for internal and external customers.
  • Staff Development: Support staff in achieving Building Control (BC) competency and assist in the development of staff going for BC competency.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree level graduate in Building Surveying with a minimum 2.1. Full Member or Surveyor/Engineer (MRICS, MCIOB, MCABE, MIStructE, or similar).
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations, associated legislation, and construction standards.
  • Experience: Relevant BC experience, plan check, and site inspection experience, as well as warranty, quality, or defect resolution experience.
  • Skills: Proven experience and knowledge of pathways towards professional membership bodies associated with Warranty and Building Control (CABE, RICS, CIOB).
  • Communication: Ability to create good working relationships with the surveying network and other construction professionals.
