Job Description

This role oversees the company's regulatory compliance, leading responses to energy regulator investigations and identifying risks. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction and a culture of high performance.

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching for direct reports.
  • Lead regulator investigations and requests for information.
  • Engage with energy regulators to deliver regulatory reporting.
  • Identify compliance risks and issues.
  • Provide compliance expertise and advice on potential incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership and mentorship to team members.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulators.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in legal or compliance management within the energy retail sector.
  • Legal degree or relevant qualifications in law or compliance management.
  • Knowledge of retail energy industry and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Outstanding literacy and presentation skills.
  • Proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills.
