As a key member of our aquatic team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that cater to the diverse needs of swimmers across various skill levels.

The role involves fostering a positive and supportive environment, encouraging swimmers to reach their full potential, and collaborating with other coaching staff to ensure consistency and high-quality coaching across all programs.

You will also play a crucial role in promoting club participation, encouraging swimmers to participate in local, state, and national competitions, and maintaining positive relationships with swimmers, parents, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Implementation: Assist the Head Coach in planning, implementing, and evaluating training programs.
  • Swimmer Development: Foster a supportive training environment and encourage swimmers' progress.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaborate with the Head Coach and other coaching staff to ensure consistency and high-quality coaching.
  • Community Engagement: Promote club participation and encourage swimmers to participate in local, state, and national competitions.
  • Communication: Maintain positive relationships with swimmers, parents, and the wider community.
Requirements
  • Aquatics coaching accreditation - Competitive Strokes and 'Development/Bronze' or Higher
  • Current Blue Card
  • Current Lifeguard Qualifications
