Coach - Junior and Bronze Swimmers

The Rackley Swimming program is seeking to expand our team of coaches, specifically for junior and bronze swimmers.

About the Role

We are looking for a coach who can assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating training programs that cater to the diverse needs of our swimmers across various skill levels.

  • Assist the Head Coach in creating, delivering, and assessing training programs that address the needs of swimmers at different skill levels.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive environment that encourages swimmers' progress and facilitates a smooth transition between learn-to-swim and squad programs.
  • Collaborate with the Head Coach and other coaching staff to ensure consistency and high-quality coaching across all programs.
  • Promote club participation and encourage swimmers to participate in local, state, and national competitions.
  • Foster positive relationships with swimmers, parents, and the wider community.
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development and a proactive approach to enhancing skills and knowledge in aquatics coaching.
  • Support the delivery of coaching for school swimming and training programs.
Requirements
  • Coaching accreditation in Competitive Strokes and Development/Bronze or higher.
  • Current Blue Card.
  • Current Lifeguard Qualifications.
  • Will to undergo a National Police Check.
