Emergency Response Coordinator Role

We are seeking a proactive Emergency Response Coordinator to develop and implement key elements of the university's emergency readiness program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, face-to-face emergency training sessions across multiple campuses
  • Create and maintain evacuation diagrams for the estate
  • Coordinate a network of emergency wardens – from recruitment and training to ongoing engagement
  • Support compliance with fire safety measures
Essential Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of emergency preparedness principles and fire safety regulations
  • High-level organisational and administrative skills
  • Experience interpreting legislation and applying it to operational contexts
  • A collaborative, calm and solutions-focused approach

This full-time position is an ongoing opportunity at a HEW 7 level located at Callaghan Campus.
