Job Summary

This leadership role plays a key part in ensuring the effective delivery of health and safety initiatives across the Department.

About the Role
  • You will be an accomplished Work Health and Safety leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of inspiring confidence and driving positive outcomes.
  • Your skills will ensure success through commitment to developing and embedding a strong safety culture by modelling best practice and promoting safe systems of work.
  • You will have proven leadership in managing teams and delivering evidence-based initiatives, strong communication, collaboration, and sound knowledge of stakeholder engagement.

As a senior WHS professional, you will contribute to the development and implementation of policies, frameworks, and initiatives that align with Department priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrating understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
  • Valid Driver License and willingness to drive between work sites.
  • Experience in a related field or relevant tertiary qualifications or training.

Supporting the achievement of safe, positive, and productive working and learning environments for staff, students, and communities is essential to this position.
