Senior Family Wellbeing Coordinator

Our organisation is committed to enhancing family wellbeing and intervention services in South East Queensland. We offer emergency support, counselling, family assistance, and child protection services to local Indigenous and non-Indigenous families.
About the ServiceThe Family Wellbeing Service is a holistic case management program that provides responsive support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. Our service works alongside families, offering targeted approaches to strengthen resilience and build capacity in children, young people, parents, families, and the wider community.
We provide dedicated support to young people at risk of coming into contact with the youth justice system, and/or who are at risk of becoming disengaged from their family. Our team also offers support to the broader family through our Family Wellbeing Practitioner.
About the Role- Provide effective leadership and management oversight to a team of practitioners, ensuring quality service delivery that nurtures healing and builds resilience in families and the wider community.
- Develop a vision for the service and achieve key performance indicators for the service and staff.
- Monitor and report on service outcomes, leading growth and development to ensure improved practice and service outcomes.
Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioural Science, or a related field with significant experience.
Full Registration as required by your profession.
A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in similar programs, including leadership and management of teams.
Experience in working with at-risk children, young people, and families, with knowledge of early intervention and family support practices.
