The primary objective of this role is to oversee remedial construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that works are delivered safely and efficiently.
As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for coordinating site activities and allocating resources to guarantee timely and high-quality project delivery. Additionally, you will promote and enforce a strong safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate site activities and allocate resources to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety requirements.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues affecting timelines or budgets.
- Liaise with engineers, clients, and subcontractors to maintain alignment across the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the planning and setup of temporary works, including scaffolding, containment, and access systems.
- Maintain detailed site records, including daily diaries, timesheets, and material usage.
- Champion continuous improvement and foster a high-performing site culture.
- 5–10 years of supervisory experience in the construction or remediation industry.
- Proven capability in delivering complex works on active construction or industrial sites.
- Strong leadership and team management skills – able to motivate and drive performance.
- A high level of accountability and financial awareness, with experience tracking productivity and costs.
- Solid technical understanding of concrete and steel repair methods, coatings, and temporary works.
- Experience in marine structures, FRP systems, or specialist remedial construction (highly regarded).
- A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to be site-based and lead by example.
