Geology Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced geologist to lead our mine geology function across multiple operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in open pit gold mining and excellent leadership skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Grade control systems: ensuring they are robust, fit-for-purpose, and tailored to each site's and client's needs.
  • Standardising and uplifting geology practices and systems company-wide.
  • Building and mentoring strong geology teams.
  • Overseeing mine reconciliation and delivering timely, accurate reporting.
  • Collaborating closely with site teams to align geological models with mine planning and production goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field (postgrad qualifications advantageous).
  • 10+ years' mine geology experience, with 3+ years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Strong background in open pit gold mining.
  • Proven skills in grade control, mine reconciliation, and team management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
