We're looking for a skilled Geoscientist to join our team in Adelaide. In this role, you'll be working alongside our experienced geotechnical and tunnelling experts on various projects across the transport, power, water, mining, property, and government sectors.

The Job

As an Engineering Geologist, you'll be responsible for conducting survey analysis of soil and rock behaviour under pressure, investigating geological formations, and conducting scientific investigations and testing. You'll also work on site, collecting data and samples, and managing reports for clients.

  • Conduct fieldwork activities including site investigations, soil logging, and sampling.
  • Study the effects of natural events such as erosion, sedimentation, earthquakes, and ground instability on engineering project sites.
  • Perform geological and geotechnical reporting for projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A tertiary degree in Geology or Engineering Geology.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A valid manual driver's license.
