About This Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced leader to join our team at Goodstart Aspendale Gardens. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in centre operations, leadership, and team management.

As the Assistant Director, you will support the Centre Director in leading the centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. You will also be responsible for mentoring and building capabilities within the centre team, as well as managing the centre in the Centre Director's absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
  • Strong focus on connections and community
