Job Title: Lead Academic Developer

The UNSW Business School is seeking a highly skilled Education Director to lead the development and delivery of education programs that promote social impact.

This role will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement education strategies, translate research insights into the classroom, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Deliver Education Programs: Enhance student learning and cultivate a positive educational environment through well-defined teaching philosophy and critically reflective teaching practice.
  • Academic Leadership: Provide oversight for the planning, design, and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive programs.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, facilitating integration between teams and supporting quarterly reporting.
  • Teaching Quality: Lead the continuous improvement of teaching quality across courses and programs, promoting innovation in curriculum design and delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership to the Education Team, supporting staff development and building a collaborative culture.
Requirements:
  • A PhD in a field related to Social Impact and relevant to the Business School.
  • Demonstrated experience as a scholar and educator in a discipline relevant to Social Impact.
  • A strong scholarly track record with demonstrated high-quality publications and research grants.
  • Proven experience in designing, managing, and delivering high-quality academic education programs.
  • A strong, proactive leader with management skills and teaching skills.
