Production Planning Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our underground operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing short-term drilling, blasting and ancillary mine plans to achieve operational objectives in a safe and cost-effective manner.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Scheduling Engineer to ensure production plans align with weekly and monthly plans. This is a hands-on role that involves inspecting and assessing underground production areas, collaborating with survey and geology departments when generating production plans, and providing technical support to underground supervisors and crew members.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar underground position
  • Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience in mine design software, with Deswik being the preferred software package
  • Experience in a production engineering related role with exposure to underground ventilation
  • Western Australian Underground Supervisors Certificate of competency, or the ability to attain the certificate
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card or proof of application
  • Current Unencumbered Western Australian C-Class Drivers Licence
