Job Title:

Security and Use of Force Coordinator

Job Description:

This role supports the Assistant Superintendent Security by evaluating, monitoring and reporting on security technology. Recommendations are made to support the security team in achieving Departmental goals related to procedural, physical and dynamic security responsibilities.

The position coordinates the Centre's internal Use of Force review process, ensuring reviews are conducted within allocated timeframes, and that recommendations are identified and implemented accordingly.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Assistant Superintendent Security and evaluate, monitor, and report on security technology; make recommendations on security issues to support Departmental goals regarding procedural, physical and dynamic security.

Applicants must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position.
