
Defence Force Communications Specialist

We are seeking a Public Relations professional to work with the Australian Army, assigned to run communications campaigns that bolster positive public perception of the armed forces.
Key Responsibilities:- Drafting press releases for media distribution
- Developing relationships with media personnel on defence beats
- Assembling video and images of Army personnel/activities for promotional materials
- Organising media awareness training for servicepeople
- Advising Army command staff on sensitive matters involving uniformed personnel
Candidates must be Australian citizens between 17 and 56 years old, have a proven track record in PR, journalism, marketing, and corporate communications, and be mentally and physically fit for basic military training. They will be stationed at ADF bases in major cities.
We require a skilled professional who can develop and implement effective communication strategies that enhance the reputation of the Australian Defence Force. The successful candidate will have strong relationships-building skills and be able to craft compelling messages that engage audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience in public relations, journalism, marketing, or corporate communications
