About the Role

ABC Civil Group Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an HSEQ Manager. This role will play a key part in delivering advice and support across all HSEQ matters, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSEQ related plans and procedures, including SWMS, EMPS, PMPs, and other relevant systems.
  • Conduct safety assessments, site inspections, and HSEQ audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the reporting and management of incidents, non-conformances, near misses, and coordinate/participate in investigations as required.
  • Verify competencies and organise training for personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs safely.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Data entry and reporting to maintain accurate records and track progress.
  • Payroll processing and recording to ensure timely and accurate payment of staff.
  • Cash flow and accounts processes to manage the company's financial resources effectively.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a Safety First - Zero Harm working environment by promoting a culture of safety awareness and responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist with the growth and integration of HSEQ in project planning stages with project coordinators and engineers.
  • Monitor and review existing processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Engage in productive project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
