Festival Production Team Member

Gluttony is a leading arts venue hub, established as an Adelaide Fringe festival destination in 2011. Our pop-up paradise in leafy Murlawirrapka/Rymill Park offers multiple dining precincts, bars, and fun activities, as well as ticketed performance spaces ranging from the large and lively to the intimate and atmospheric.
Our ExperienceIn 2024, we presented 180 shows, sold 280,000 tickets, and welcomed more than 720,000 visitors through our gates. Our experienced team includes site build, operations, production, front-of-house, administration, marketing, functions, and bar staff.
Festival RecruitmentWe are currently recruiting for site crew to join our team for various festivals throughout the year. As a member of our site crew, you will be part of a large team and often required to jump between different roles. It is a physically demanding role that requires a moderate level of fitness and a can-do attitude.
Roles and Responsibilities- Riggers: Assist with setting up and dismantling structures, including tents and stages
- Tele/Fork/EWP Operators: Operate telehandlers, fork lifts, and elevated work platforms
- Tent Builders: Construct and dismantle temporary structures
- Decking: Install and remove decking for performances and events
- Design and Décor: Assist with setup and design of event spaces
- Chippies: Conduct general maintenance and repairs on-site
- Trade Assistants: Provide support to tradespeople on-site
- Signage and Scrim: Assist with installation and removal of signage and scrim
As a member of our site crew, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of skillsets and contribute to the success of our festivals. You will also have access to training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career prospects.
Salary and ConditionsThe estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer competitive conditions, including paid annual leave, sick leave, and public holidays.
