Job Opportunity: Commercial Bid Specialist

Job Description:

Our leading construction company is seeking a skilled Commercial Bid Specialist to join their vibrant business team. This role involves coordinating tender submissions, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, content writing, and maintaining the company's CRM system.

  • Coordinate production of tender submissions across various project types and values
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including joint venture partners
  • Manage tasks and tender workbooks for all bid submissions and presentations
  • Create engaging content for the wider business
  • Assist estimators/directors with tender presentations using InDesign
  • Maintain company CRM system and content library
  • Follow up with clients on submissions and record feedback for continuous improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Recent experience as a senior bid coordinator or commercial bid specialist in construction
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, construction, journalism, or marketing
  • Experience with design & construction methodologies
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office; Canva is a plus
  • High attention to detail and strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, exercising initiative and judgment
