**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Technical Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining an awareness and understanding of the impact that your work can have on our systems. You will also actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement of service delivery and work practices. Additionally, you will maintain an effective working relationship with other staff members to ensure that there is effective coordination of all activities in support of organizational objectives.

  • Maintain an awareness and understanding of the impact that work undertaken can have on Airservices systems.
  • Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement of service delivery and work practices.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with other Airservices staff to ensure that there is effective coordination of all activities in support of organisational objectives.
  • Coach other staff within the workgroup.
  • Take part in the implementation of enterprise governance systems and policies, including safety, environmental, work health and safety, risk and compliance.
  • Have the ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card.
  • Have Australian Citizenship (requirement for Defence Baseline Security Clearance).

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance and installation of electrical systems such as: power and reticulation system components, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generating sets, air conditioning systems, DC power systems and RADAR electrical systems;
  • A demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, organise and perform activities with limited guidance, for cost effective outcomes;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the policies, procedures and legislation relevant to the position;
  • A strong commitment to working in a team environment with a focus on delivering the highest level of customer service.
  • The possession of relevant licensing as specified by Legislative and/or Airservices requirements.

**Essential Qualifications:**

You must hold the following qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
  • Current ACT / NSW electrical work licence.
  • Current CPR/LVR.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Construction industry White Card.

**Security Clearance:**

To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian citizen as an Australian AGSVA security clearance is required for this role. Please refer to the _security check requirements_ successful applicants will be required to undertake as part of the recruitment process.
