System Specialist Job

Airservices Australia is seeking a specialist to provide engineering expertise for system management and projects.

The role involves investigating, managing, and implementing corrections, enhancements, and upgrades on supported systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and manage system issues
  • Prepare documentation, policies, and standards for system support and maintenance
  • Develop proposals and estimates for system changes and improvements
  • Support field maintenance staff in deploying system changes and resolving issues
  • Participate in projects and lead the creation of project engineering artefacts
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or Information Technology, or certified equivalent international qualification
  • Experience with PLC, SCADA RTU/Telemetry, IT/OT networking systems and protocols (Modbus, BACnet, SNMP)
  • Proven experience integrating legacy systems
  • Project Management and vendor performance management experience desirable
  • Highly regulated working environment experience desirable
  • Practical understanding of electronic and electrical circuits
  • Experience providing system support, investigation, management, and resolution of complex issues
  • Good understanding of computer networks and protocols

This role requires an Australian citizen due to the need for an Australian AGSVA security clearance.
