Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our team in maintaining and constructing our electricity distribution network. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong technical skills, attention to safety, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construction and maintenance of electrical infrastructure including cable termination, mini pillar maintenance and switchgear maintenance
  • Fault response and rectification works
  • Installation of services from our distribution network to customers' premises
  • Connection and disconnection of supply
  • Participation in on-call & shift-work rosters as necessary
  • Customer quality of supply investigations and electrical infrastructure testing
Ideal Candidate:
  • You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
  • Certificate III Systems Electrician or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in field construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure
  • High risk license – EWP
  • OH&S General Induction Card
  • Asbestos Awareness training
  • Current ACT motor vehicle licence or its acceptable equivalent
