About the Role:

As a CBRE Critical Services Supervisor, you will oversee the department responsible for resolving and completing day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction.

  • This role is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function.
  • You will be responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor their training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and coach as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
  • Set and track staff and department deadlines, mentor, and coach as required.
  • Review work logs and outstanding items through the in-house system to ensure completion, retain records, and present them to clients upon request.
  • Require contractors and staff to comply with all company, client safety, and security requirements. Approve new vendors and maintain relationships with current ones.
  • Develop and implement critical services training programs.
  • Meet regularly with Sr management and key stakeholders to provide status reports.
  • Share advanced expertise and industry experience with the team to help resolve operational problems.
  • Evaluate Planned Preventative Maintenance assessments of plant and equipment and approve improvements and upgrades.
  • Confirm all out-of-line situations are documented with incident reports and resolved within a timely manner.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 4-7 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Current or previous experiences in Data Center Facilities Maintenance or Critical Infrastructure Environment with Critical equipment such HV/LV Distribution system, HVAC, UPS, BMS, CMMS etc
  • Education background in building/facilities management/Mechanical -AC & Ref/Electrical
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on location and experience.
