Job Summary: We are seeking a Clinical Educator and Quality Improvement Manager to oversee clinical mental health treatment interventions and education, ensuring best practice is met across the service.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the implementation and sustainment of the Mental Health Division's orientation and induction approach for new staff.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and leadership team to deliver an integrated orientation program for the division.
  • Support the development and utilization of policies and procedures for the Early Career Graduation Program.
  • Embed evidence-based practices, including the Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) and informed peer practice supervision, within clinical teams.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and staff development through workshops and in-service training.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and permits.

About You:



  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, OT, Nursing, or Allied Health.
  • Be eligible for registration with AHPRA or AASW depending on the discipline.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills and the ability to represent the organization to stakeholders.
  • Have 5 years' experience in a health-related discipline.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role is desirable.
  • Demonstrate project management skills to lead reforms and change management processes.
  • Have experience in planning, facilitation, and training, with the ability to lead workshops and reflective practice sessions.
  • Provide training, workshops, and workforce development opportunities to clinical mental health staff.
  • Develop workforce development approaches for clinical mental health staff and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exhibit strategic communication and relationship management skills.
  • Maintain a highly resilient, flexible, and future-focused approach to leadership.
  • Have experience in student and/or graduate placement coordination and supervision.
  • Express a passion for youth mental health and a keen interest in improving service provision for young people and families.

Salary and Benefits:


HPSS Level 4.2, $108,447.94 p/a, plus Super, salary packaging option, and 5 weeks annual leave. A vehicle is included in the package, and a relocation allowance is provided.
