Job Title: Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking an experienced nurse educator to join our team. As the clinical nurse educator, you will play a pivotal role in providing educational support and clinical teaching to graduate nurses and students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education and be able to promote evidence-based nursing care through dissemination of current best practice knowledge.

  • Current AHPRA registration required
  • Post Graduate Certificate in ED (or working towards)
  • Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE) (or working towards)
  • Educator experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in eLearning platforms
  • High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with over 250 beds, providing Emergency Services, Intensive Care and Cardiac Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on educational support to graduate nurses and students
  • Promote high standard of evidence-based nursing care
  • Ensure staff compliance with Mandatory Training and eLearning components
  • Attend relevant policy meetings, ward meetings and bi-monthly Education Meetings

Requirements:

  • Post Graduate Certificate in ED (or working towards)
  • Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE) (or working towards)
  • Educator experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in eLearning platforms
  • High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
