Job Summary:

As a highly skilled and experienced Learning Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping teaching and learning practices across the organization. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and mentoring colleagues to improve their teaching skills.

The successful candidate will have expertise in teaching and learning, with a strong track record of modeling exemplary classroom practice. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other stakeholders.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver professional learning opportunities for teachers
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of students
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve their instructional practices
  • Lead and model the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and refine assessment tools and processes
  • Model effective learning practices and support teachers to seek, analyze, and act on feedback
  • Supervise and train one or more student teachers and mentor and/or coach teachers
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in teaching and learning and share knowledge with colleagues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a teacher or instructional leader
  • Proven track record of improving teaching and learning practices
  • Expertise in curriculum design and development
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
