Warehouse and Logistics Specialist

Philips is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse and Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our warehouse operations, managing logistics processes, and ensuring seamless collaboration with our 3PL partners.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and manage storage capacity planning with our warehouse provider.
  • Collaborate with our account team and market demand planner to develop a comprehensive forecasting strategy.
  • Coordinate quality control processes, including delivery holds, scrapping activities, and rework.
  • Manage outbound unhappy flow and exceptions, such as rush shipments and customer complaints.
  • Monitor inbound inventory and assist with documentation as needed.
  • Perform performance management with our warehouse provider, ensuring adherence to KPIs in their contract and Philips' KPIs.
  • Support transformation projects, such as introducing new flows and automation.
  • Manage returns process and ensure inventory accuracy between our 3PL WMS and Philips' SAP system.
  • Oversee 3PL daily operations and governance, including coordinating quarterly audits and stock takes.
  • Assist in setting up operations with new 3PL providers and resolving issues related to warehouse performance, logistics, and reverse logistics.
  • Proactively manage distribution costs and drive continuous improvement in our distribution processes.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level education in logistics or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehousing and distribution processes, preferably in the medical devices industry.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP software (SAP SBO/PRD) and Excel skills.
  • Good knowledge of Power BI dashboards (preferred).
  • Ability to work from our warehouse located in Hoxton Park once per week, on average.
  • Accustomed to effectively prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency.
  • Experience in change management and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Solutions-focused, creative, and innovative with high levels of organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Results-oriented and highly analytical individual.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Bring unique expertise or skills to the team that complement and enhance existing capabilities.
