Warehouse and Logistics Specialist

At Philips, we're seeking a highly skilled Warehouse and Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing our warehouse operations, managing logistics processes, and ensuring seamless collaboration with our 3PL partners.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and manage storage capacity with our warehouse provider.
  • Collaborate with our account team and market demand planner to develop forecasts and drive continuous improvement in our distribution processes.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to warehouse performance, logistics, and reverse logistics.
  • Proactively manage distribution costs and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Support transformation projects, such as introducing new flows and automation, to improve our operational efficiency.
  • Manage returns process and ensure accurate inventory levels between our 3PL WMS and Philips SAP system.
  • Oversee 3PL daily operations and governance, including coordinating quarterly audits and stock takes.
  • Assist in setting up operations with new 3PL providers and ensure a smooth transition.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level education in logistics or equivalent field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing and distribution processes, preferably within medical devices industries.
  • Good knowledge of SAP software (SAP SBO / PRD) and strong Excel skills.
  • Available to work from our warehouse located in Hoxton Park once per week, on average.
  • Accustomed to effectively prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with focus on efficiency.
  • Experience in change management and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Must be solutions-focused, creative, innovative with a high level of organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
  • Be a results-oriented and highly analytical individual.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
