Site Operations Coordinator

The role entails coordinating site activities on various projects across Sydney. In this capacity, you will collaborate with the Project Manager and site team to manage construction site operations effectively.

You will spearhead a variety of activities to ensure the success of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling, planning, and forecasting technical activities on site to guarantee efficiency.
  • Working closely with subcontractors during project phases to ensure seamless execution.
  • Taking control of project documentation to maintain organization and timeliness.
  • Contributing expertise to technical detailing and problem-solving to address challenges confidently.
  • Interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods, and procedures.
  • Monitoring technical implementation, testing, and quality control on site to ensure high standards are met.
  • Assisting in trade coordination and management, working closely with the team to ensure smooth operations.

About You

You should have prior experience in a site-based role and an understanding of engineering principles, construction, and architecture. Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 2+ years of previous experience working on construction sites (Cadetship, Graduate Program, or similar)
  • Experience in building concrete and structural steel structures
  • Construction White Card
  • Previous experience using systems like AutoCAD and CHEOPS
