Senior Construction Leadership Opportunity

Brunel has partnered with a well-established Tier 2 construction company to appoint a Senior Construction Manager in Queensland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a flagship $200m project on the Gold Coast, followed by a transition to Brisbane where they will lead multiple project teams and senior managers across a diverse pipeline of projects valued between $30m and $100m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of high-profile construction projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Oversee and mentor senior project managers and project delivery teams.
  • Ensure alignment between project managers, design managers, and site staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor performance and implement improvements.
  • Foster a collaborative team culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in large-scale commercial construction as a Senior Project Manager or Construction Manager.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple senior project managers across concurrent major projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and codes.
  • Confident in stakeholder engagement and issue resolution.
