Water Security Modelling Opportunity

Job Overview:

This permanent, full-time water security modelling role is based in Brisbane. You will lead assessments to ensure water security across Southeast Queensland.

About the Role:

  • Apply advanced modelling techniques to improve model development and analyse outcomes.
  • Evaluate and interpret water supply modelling results to provide expert advice.
  • Coordinate significant water supply modelling projects within cross-functional teams.
  • Provide professional advice on policy, legislation, and regulation.
  • Ensure water supply models are accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Science, Maths or Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional modelling experience.
  • Proven expertise in stochastic modelling for large and complex systems.
  • Able to lead multi-functional project teams effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • High-level analytical and statistical interpretation skills.
