Swimming Coach Opportunity

Belgravia Leisure is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated swimming coach to join our team at the Woodford Swimming Pool.

As a swimming teacher, you will be responsible for providing effective swimming and water safety lessons to students of diverse ages and abilities. You must have excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service to ensure our swim school members and parents gain maximum benefit and enjoyment.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for swimming and making children safer around water. They must be energetic, outgoing, fun, and able to work independently and as part of a team. The role involves working mornings, evenings, and weekends with empathy for class needs. You should also have a current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR Certificate and Working With Children Check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality swimming and water safety lessons to students of diverse ages and abilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure maximum benefit and enjoyment for our swim school members and parents
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check
  • Current SWIM Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends with empathy for class needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
