Veterinary ECC Specialist

At Animal Referral Hospital, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Veterinary ECC team as an intern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary clinical work within our ECC department, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Participate in training and development programs, including weekly ECC induction modules, intern rounds, and topic reviews.
- Develop technical and surgical skills through participation in wet pracs and other training opportunities.
- Contribute to the production of scientific journal articles and presentations, with the support of a clinical mentor.
- Prepare for and pass a written and oral exam at the completion of the 18-month program, designed to simulate a MANZCVS style assessment.

About the Program:
- The 18-month program is designed to provide comprehensive training and development in ECC, with a focus on clinical skills, technical skills, and professional development.
- Participants will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including primary clinical work, training in related disciplines, and participation in wet pracs and other training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Must be a veterinary graduate or currently enrolled in a veterinary program.
- Must have a strong passion for ECC and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
